I have played with brushes today!
Först några ATC kort som jag gjort med tyska textstämplar.
(ATC=Artist Trading Card som är 2,5*3,5 tum i mått och man ska gärna dokumentera på baksidan vem som gjort, när och om de ingår i en serie.)
First some ATC cards that I have made with German text stamps.
(ATC=Artist Trading Card that measures 2,5*3,5 inches and one shall document on the back side who the artist is, when made and if they are belonging to a series.)
Sedan har jag gjort ett kort med samma stämplar och ett hemmagjort kuvert i rätt storlek.
Then I have made a card with the same stamps and a home made envelope in the right size.
Börja med att mäta diagonalen på kortet i tum och lägg till en tum.
Start to measure the diagonal of the card in inches and add one inch.
Skär till ett kvadratiskt papper (jag använde cardstock) med sidan enligt ovan.
Cut a quadratic paper (I used card stock) with the side as above.
Placera pappret mitt på din score bräda (eller jobba på frihand) och placera kortet ovanpå enligt nedan. Jag använde mitten på score brädan för att få det rakt.
Place the paper on the diagonal in the middle of your scoring board (or work without) and place the card on top according to below. I used the middle of the scoring board to line it up.
Scora ca 1/4 tum från kortet runt om. Det behövs för att kunna stoppa i och ta ut kortet.
Score approximately 1/4 inch from the card all the way. This is needed to make it easy to put in and take out the card.
Mitt på sidorna bildas små trianglar där scorlinjerna överlappar, klipp bort dem.
Jag valde även att runda hörnen med en hörnstans.
In the middle of the sides there will occur small triangles, cut them away.
I also chose to round the corners with a corner punch.
Nu är det dags att stämpla på framsidan. Jag använde min Misti för att få allt rakt och snyggt, men jag fick trixa lite för att få plats med det blivande kuvertet i Mistin. Glöm inte att maska av baksidan med tex en post-it lapp (den gula nedan).
Time to stamp on the front of the envelope. I used my Misti to get everything straight, but I had to fix a little to fit the coming envelope in the Misti. Do not forget to mask off the backside with for example a post-it note (the yellow below).
Då blir resultatet så här.
The result will be like this.
Fortsätt med att stämpla på baksidan av kuvertet.
Continue to stamp on the backside of the envelope.
Nu är det dags att tejpa ihop, fast färglägg gärna stämplarna först...
Använd stark tejp. Saxen ligger bara där för att ni ska se hur det ska vikas ihop.
Time to assemble the envelope, but colour the stamps first...
Use strong tape. The scissors are only there for you to be able to see how to fold it.
Nu ska kuvertet vara redo att användas.
Now the envelope is ready to use.
Och så här ser kort och kuvert ut tillsammans.
