Hi there!

As promised, here is my Multi Tiered Popup Card with a tutorial.

When you fold this card it become flat and you can put it in a envelope.

Som jag har lovat, här kommer mitt Multi Tiered Popup Card med en beskrivning.

När du viker kortet blir det platt och du får in det i ett kuvert.

Tutorial:

Cardbase in cardstock: 8" x 6", 

Score with the 8" side up at: 2" & 6"

Dividers in cardstock: 5" x 4 7/8" , 5" x 3 7/8", 5" x 2 7/8", 5" x 2" 

Score with the 5" side up at: 1/2" & 4 1/2"

Cardbase:

Make a mark 2" from the bottom and up on each side on the card.

Cut from the mark up to the scoreline on the top. See picture below:

If you want patterned paper, attach it before you assemble the card.

Patterned paper for the front & back side: 5 3/4" x 3 3/4"

Patterned paper for the cardbase sides: 5 3/4" x 1 3/4"

Mark 2" from the bottom and cut diagonally to the corner. Make two mirrored pieces.

Dividers:

Patterned paper: 3 3/4 x 4 3/4", 3 3/4 x 3 3/4", 3 3/4 x 2 3/4", 3 3/4 x 1 3/4"

Attach on to the dividers.

Put glue on the tags and attach the dividers on to the sides of the cardbase.

Start with the biggest one och finish with the smallest one.

Beskrivning:

Kortbas i cardstock: 8" x 6", 

Biga med 8" sidan upp: 2" & 6"

Avdelare i cardstock: 5" x 4 7/8" , 5" x 3 7/8", 5" x 2 7/8", 5" x 2" 

Biga med 5" sidan upp: 1/2" & 4 1/2"

Kortbas:

Gör en markering 2" från botten och upp på varje sida på kortet.

Skär från markeringen diagonalt upp till bigningen.

Se bild nedan:

Ifall du vill ha mönstrat papper, fäst det innan du monterar kortet.

Mönstrat papper för fram & baksida: 5 3/4" x 3 3/4"

Mönstrat papper till kortbasens sidor: 5 3/4" x 1 3/4"

Markera 2" från botten och skär diagonalt upp till hörnet. 

Gör två spegelvända delar.

Avdelare:

Mönstrat papper : 3 3/4 x 4 3/4", 3 3/4 x 3 3/4", 3 3/4 x 2 3/4", 3 3/4 x 1 3/4"

Fäst på avdelarna.

Limma på flikarna och fäst avdelara på korbasens sidor.

Börja med den största och avsluta med den minsta.

Kortvikning: Pin Wheel Card

 Hej där!
På Trelleborgsträffen förra helgen så visade jag hur man viker ett Pin Wheel card. Tänkte att det kunde vara kul att visa det här också. Kortet är på Halloween-tema men funkar ju så klart med vad som helst.

Last weekend at the Trelleborg Craft Event I showed how to make a Pin Wheel Card. I thought it would be fun to show you here as well. My card is for Halloween but you can make it for all kind of events.

Kortet har fyra sidor, här kommer den första!/The card has four panels, this is the first one!

Sida nr två med ytterligare ett charmigt spöke!/The second panel with another sweet ghost!

Sida tre med ett helt gäng góa filurer! /Panel no three with a whole bunch of them!

På sida fyra har jag lämnat plats för en liten hälsning./On the last panel there's space for some writing.

Från ovan ser kortet ut så här, ihopviket passar det fint i ett vanligt C6-kuvert.

This is how the card looks from above, when flat it fits perfect in an ordinary C6-envelope.

How to fold/vikningen:

Mittdelen mäter 11*11 cm, biga vid 2,5 cm, 5 cm, 7,5 cm och 10 cm. Bäst blir det att använda ett papper som är lite tunnare än vanligt cardstock. De fyra gröna panelerna är 7,5 * 11 cm.

The tower/centerpiece measures 4 1/4 * 4 1/4", fold at 1, 2, 3, 4". Best is to use a paper thinner than an ordinary cardstock for the center piece.
The four green panels measures 3 * 4 1/4".

A simple bottle tag!

Today I am going to show you how to make a simple bottle tag.

I know there are dies on the market, but you can easily make one sourself.

Du behöver / You need:

1 cardstock/ papper  (till basen )7 x 21 cm

1 cardstock/papper (till kortet) 6,5 X 13,5 cm

1 rund dise  att göra hålet med / 1 round dies to make the hole with.

Cardstock: Cardbase 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"

Cardbase

I used the Kugghjulsbakgrund and stamped two pieces of cardstock 3 3/4" x 5".

One for the front of the card and the other one inside the card, the left side.

I used a circle die to cut out a window.

I attached one piece on to the front with doubled sided tape. But the piece that goes inside the card I only attach it with post it tape. This is because my machine doesn't diecut through three layers. But when I take the inside piece off, I can see the marks and run it through the machine again.

Kortbas

Jag använde  Kugghjulsbakgrund och stämplade två delar cardstock 3 3/4" x 5".

En till framsidan och en till vänstra insidan.

Jag använde en cirkel die till att stansa ut ett fönster.

Jag fäste en av delarna med dubbelsidig tejp. Men, delen om ska vara inuti kortet fäste jag bara med post it tape. Därför att min maskin kör inte igenom tre lager. 

Men, när jag tar bort insidan så har jag märken och kan köra igenom den igen.

I diecut a frames using the same circle as I used for the window. Then a bigger one to make the frames.

One goes to the front and the other one inside the card.

Jag stansade ut samma cirkel som jag använde till fönstret. Sen en större för att göra ramarna.

En till framnsian och en till insidan av kortet.

The other piece

I decorated the two panels with Rördelar.

 

Then another panel with Kugghjulsbakgrund 1 3/4" x 5"

Den andra delen

Jag dekorerade två paneler med Rördelar.

Den andra delen med Kugghjulsbakgrund 1 3/4" x 5"

Attach the piece on to the right panel on to the cardbase.

Fäst delen på den högra sidan på kortbasens insida.

A circle with messages goes on to the right panel. 

But, try to fold the card so that the circle fits in to the window.

----------

En cirkel med meddelanden fästs på den högra panelen.

Men, testa att stänga kortet så att cirkeln passar i fönstret.

I used scissors to cut out a few cogs from the Kugghjulsbakgrund and attach them on to the front of the card.

Jag använde sax och klippte ut några kugghjul från Kugghjulsbakgrund och fäste dom på framsida av kortet.

Done!

Rain Shaker Card

I've seen this Rain Shaker Card and thought I just have to make one.

So here it is!

Tutorial/ beskrivning:

1 Cardbase/kortbas: 14 x 14 cm

1 Frame/ram: 14 x 14 cm

1 Background: 8 x 12 cm

2 Stripes/remsor: 8 x 2 cm

Pearls/pärlor: Rocaille

Fishline/fiskelina

invisible thread/eller osynlig tråd

Frame

• Cut out the hole in the frame with a die, measuring: 6 x 10 cm
• Stamp the motive and color it
• I used Distress ink on to the frame: Stormy sky, Faded jeans, Mermaid lagoon and peeled paint

Ram

• Stansa ut ett hål i ramen med en die som mäter ca 6 x 10 cm
• Stämpla motiven och färglägg dom
• Jag har använt Distress ink :  Stormy sky, Faded jeans, Mermaid lagoon and peeled paint

Background

• Make the background a bit bigger than the hole in the frame; 8 x 12 cm
• I used Distressed ink on the background: Stormy sky, Faded jeans, Mermaid lagoon and peeled paint.
• Attach the owl on to the background.

• Cut two stripes of cardstock 8 x 2 cm, these are the holders for the thread.
• Mark the stripes in the middle and make cuts from one side up to the mark. Put 3D tape on the part that is marked with red. See picture below.

Bakgrund

• Gör bakgrunden lite större än hålet i ramen: ca 8 x 12 cm
• Jag använde Distress ink: Stormy sky, Faded jeans, Mermaid lagoon and peeled paint
• Fäst ugglan på bakgrunden

• Skär ut två remsor av cardstock 8 x 2 cm, dessa är hållare för tråden.
• Märk mitten på remsorna och skär skåror från ena sidan upp till markeringen. Fäst 3D tejp på den delen som är markerad röd. Se bilden nedan.

• Attach the stripes on to the background. The cuts must be placed above the background, so the tape goes on the top/bottom of the background. You can see further down what I mean.
• Attach the thread in the first cut and fasten it on the backside of the stripe with ordinary tape.

• Fäst remsorna på bakgrunden. Skårorna måste placeras ovanför bakgrunden, så tejpen ska vara på toppen och botten av bakgrunden. Du kan se längre ner vad jag menar.
• Fäst tråden i den första skåran och fäst den på baksidan av remsan med vanlig tejp.

• I got a good tip from a friend how to fasten secure. Fasten the thread with tape, make a loop and fasten with a piece of tape again.
• Now, it's time to thread the beads. Use as many pearls that you want. Secure the end in the same way that you did in the beginning.

• Jag fick ett bra tips från en vän hur man kan fästa den säkert. Fäst tråden med tape, gör en ögla och fäst med en bit tejp igen.
• Nu är det dags att trä pärlorna. Använd så många pärlor som du vill. Fäst tråden på samma sätt som du gjorde i början.

Your rain is now done! /  Ditt regn är klart!

Attach the background on to the cardbase and then place the frame over the other pieces.

Decorate with clouds and textstamp.

Your Rain Shaker Card is now done!

Jag har sett dom överallt så, jag måste ju göra ett!

This is what I used/det här använde jag:

Dies:

3 blommor

Små blad

Scalloped circles

This is how I made this card/så här gjorde jag kortet:

PS. I made the tutorial in white because it's easier to see than in black.

Jag gjorde beskrivningen i vitt för det är enklare att se än i svart.

Use the smallest of the circle dies. 

Cut a strip of cardstock measuring: 23 x 5 cm.

Score the strip at: 1,2 cm & 3,8 cm

 Använd den minsta cirkeldiesen.

Skär en remsa av cardstock: 23 x 5 cm.

Biga remsan på: 1,2 cm & 3,8 cm

Cut the strip at both sides from bottom up to the score line to make tiny tabs.

And attach the strip to the circle (the tabs will wrap around each other)

Do this all around, you might have to cut off a cm or 2 in the end.

Klipp upp på båda sidorna nerifrån och upp till den bigade linjen för att göra små flikar.

Fäst remsan på cirkeln, flikarna kommer ligga omlott.

Gör detta runt hela cirkeln, du kanske måste klippa bort nån cm eller två i slutet.

This is how it should look/så här ska den se ut:

I decorated with Gummiapans paper

The top of the hat: the smallest circle

The strip: approximately  21 x 2,4 cm 

Then the middle of the circle die to attach the hat on.

En remsa: ca  21 x 2,4 cm 

Sen den mittersta cirkel diesen, för att fästa hatten på.

The hat is done, now how to make the card base

Hatten är klar och nu ska kortbasen göras

Cut a piece of cardstock at 28 x 14 cm, score at 14 cm. Fold so that you'll get a card

Then you take the biggest of the circle dies and place it as I show in the picture below. 

Run it through your machine and fold the upper circle in half ( it won't be exactly because the circle isn't whole)

Skär ut cardstock 28 x 14 cm, biga på 14 cm. Vik så att du får ett kort.

Sen tar du den största cirkel diesen och placerar den som jag visar i bilden nedan.

Stansa ut i maskinen och vik den övre cirkeln på hälften (det blir inte exakt för att cirkeln inte är hel)

You need another of the big circle dies to put on the base

 Du behöver ytterligare en av de stora cirkeldiesen för att fäsa på basen.

Now it's time to attach the hat and decorate the card!

Nu är det dax att fästa hatten och dekorera kortet!
