Valentine - spinning wheel

I’m doing it with a spinning wheel card that comes with a tutorial.

det gör jag med ett “snurrkort” med en beskrivning.

The receiver will get small messages spinning the wheel...

Mottagaren får snurra fram små meddelanden...

I used white cardstock for cardbase 11x11 cm and for the spinning wheels as well. The big spinningwheel is 10 cm diameter. I wanted a scalloped circle so I draw a cirlcle and cut it out with scalloped scissors. You can also use Gummiapans dies  Pierced cirles or Stitched circles they will make really nice edges.

I cut out another circle, 9 cm diameter (this one will not show). The small one is going on the back of the big one. Punch a small hole through the center of both circles and push a brad though them.

Jag använde mig av vit cardstock för att göra kortbasen 11x11 cm och samma cardstock till snurran. Den stora snurran är 10 cm diameter.

Jag ville ha en vågig kant så jag ritade en cirkel och klippte ut den med en vågig sax. Du kan också stansa ut den med Gummiapans dies  Pierced circles eller Stitched circles som ger en snygg kant.

Jag har använt ytterligare en cirkel, 9 cm diameter (den här cirkeln kommer inte att synas). Den lilla cirkeln ska placeras bakom den stora. Stansa ut ett litet hål genom båda cirklarna och fäst ihop dem med en brad.

For the frontpanel I used Gummiapans mönstrade papper, mörkturkos serie.

I cut it 10,8 x 10,8 cm and used Gummiapans die Hjärtlig pratbubbla to make a “ see through”.

This is a bit tricky, but I put all the layers together and marked where I should diecut it. If you feel uncertain, make a prototype.

Then I put all the layers together again and very lightly marked with a pencil at the spinning wheel were I was going to put my messeges.
Take everything apart again, the circles with the brad aswell. This is to make a flat surface when using the stamps.

Till frontpanelen använde jag Gummiapans mönstrade papper, mörkturkos serie. Jag skar den 10,8 x 10,8 cm och använde Gummiapans die Hjärtlig pratbubbla så att jag fick det lilla kikhålet.Det här är lite trixigt, men jag la ihop alla lager och markerade var jag skulle stansa någonstans. Känner du dig osäker, så gör en prototyp.

Jag la ihop alla lager igen och markerade med en blyertspenna var jag skulle stämpla mina meddelanden. Jag tog isär allt igen, även cirklarna med braden. Detta för att kunna få en plan yta att stämpla på..

Then again I put the circles together with a brad. I used doublesided tape on the backside of the small circle and attached it on the cardbase. I thought it looked better with 3D tape for the frontpanel, so thats what I used to attach it on the cardbase/spinningwheel.

To decorate the frontpanel I used The Die Hjärtan and Stitched rectangles dies that I stamped with Valentine - all of it from Gummiapan!

Så ännu en gång... jag satte ihop cirklarna med en brad. Använde dubbelsidig tape på baksidan på den lilla cirkeln och fäste den på kortbasen. Jag tyckte att det såg bättre ut med 3D tape till frontpanelen, då det använde jag för att fästa den på kortbasen/snurran. För att dekorera frontpanelen så använde jag Hjärtan, Stitched rectangles dies som jag stämplade med  Valentine - allt från Gummiapan!
