Hello there
Gummiapan fans!!
My first
blogpost as a member of the DT, I can’t describe how honored I am and how exciting
I feel! First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Carmen, I’m 30 years “old”
and I’m from Belgium. I craft for as long as I can remember, I was always happy
with some paper, scissors and a glue stick in my hands. Now a days, you can
make me happy with stamps 😀 I use them in all kinds of projects such as
cards, mini albums, in my art journal spreads, on a mixed media piece, an ATC… I
hope I can inspire some of you with my projects! Here comes the first…
I made 3
cards with a cute little angel stamp, I just adore it! I used it for my happy
new year cards for my friends and also on the menu card for new year’s day. The
3rd card is just a regular one, I just enjoyed playing with my inks
and stamps 😊
because I didn’t want to fussy cut the angel, I used another technique and I made
you a little tutorial. Here we go!
I first
stamped my image and then give it a coat of masking fluid. When the fluid is
totally dry, I inked up my surface, splashed with some water and gave it
texture with some stenciling and stamping. After stamping my quote it was time
to remove the masking fluid, you can just peel it off. And tadaaa, a perfect
little angel appeared!
Here you can see the card individually:
And these are the stamps I used:
- angel 14090603
- happy everything 16050113
- carpe diem 15030907
- wishing you a happy day 16050104
- background text 11060301
- craft cardstock
I hope you like them!
Untill next time, have a great day!
